PROJECT PRESENTATION

1) BUSINESS IDEA:

Consist in the investment of the CCD color Sorter (Machinery), and agricultural equipment, in order to have a better quality for our product (Peruvian Quinoa), this implementation will improve our exportation cost, and the process of sorter and packaging.

2) VISION:

"Our proposal is to be one of the leaders in exportation of Peruvian quinoa, giving value adds, with a new brand, with competitive quality and price.

3) MISSION:

We are a company, who is going to impulse the production of Quinoa in Puno, and give better quality life to the communities, being leaders increasing the exportation of this product with the implementation of agricultural technology.

4) BACKGROUND:

4.1 Product Status

Peru exports Quinoa to 36 countries worldwide, including major U.S., Germany, Canada, Australia, etc. In the year 2011, 35,500 hectares were harvested thereby achieving a domestic supply of 41,200 tons of quinoa.

The year 2013 has been declared by the General Assembly of the United Nations as the International Year of Quinoa, Peru as a member of the International Coordinating Committee was invited to the official launch where many international companies demanded more information about quinoa.

The Peruvian Chamber of Commerce in the State of Florida in the United States reported that quinoa exports reached $ 40 million at the end of this year 2012.
