IOMIP DR exercise planned  on ( 9/20 – 1am CT to 9/20 – 5 am CT)

Steps  to follow at very  high level

1. 1.15am CT - Request EMAS to stop the current production i.e  iOMIPV2Cluster in Dallas  tipk1701/tipk1801.

1. 1.25am CT – Development team will validate that Dallas clusters are completely stopped without any issues.

1. 1.30pm CT -  Request  infra team to start the iOMIPV2Cluster in STL cipc1201/cipc1301.

1. 1.35pm CT -  Request  infra team to manually start ASPs as DR have ASP status as INACTIVE.

1. 1.45am CT - Development team will validate that DR servers in STL are completely up without any issues.

1. 2.00 am CT - Development team start all the batch jobs on DR servers.

1. 2.10 am CT - Development team validates all batch jobs started without any issues.

1. 2.15 am CT to 3.00 am CT - Development team validate DR servers completely up and perform all the production validation steps.

1. 3.00am CT to 3.30 am CT - Development team check the application logs, stdin,stdout logs and validate that transactions are flowing without any issues and perform some additional functional testing to make sure IOMIP functionally working as like current production.

1. 3.35 am CT - Development team stop all the batch jobs on the DR servers

1. 3.45am am CT - Development team confirms to all that all the batch jobs were stopped on DR servers without any issues.

1. 3.50am CT - Request  team infra to  stop DR servers in STL i.e iOMIPV2Cluster in STL cipc1201/cipc1301.

1. 4.00 am CT -  Development team validate DR servers are completely stopped without any issues.

1. 4.10am CT – IOMIP ARC confirms that Application Disaster Recovery Exercise completed and if any issues document in the exercise work book.

1. 4.15am CT - Notify EMAS  to start the production servers i.e iOMIPV2Cluster in Dallas tipk1701/tipk1801.

1. Develop team will validate everything is up and working in current working.
