The main point of this essay would be to analyze the protagonist from a psychological, sociologically and socioaffective point of view.

Trevor McKinney. Despite his age, he is a very mature child smart, observant and demanding of himself. Although the environment is not favorable, in this film it demonstrates that the boy is secure of himself and it was acquired by the process of socialization received during childhood, based on the emotional relationships he learns to respect habits and the most basic rules of coexistence. However, this socialization process is poor and has been deteriorated with time pass. Because of alcohol problems her mother, and the mistreatment of his father became a fact that caused Trevor to become an independent child and he even takes care of her mother when it should be the other way around.

Time goes by and Trevor’s professor proves to have a very strong emotional feelings for Trevor and he takes the place of the father figure and it demonstrates the ability of infection of human kindness, through small gestures of solidarity each person makes these gestures, in a small way, change the world and all that people, regardless of age, have the power to do.

These are the realities that are depicted in the film, they are they realities that we find in our society and the ones we fight every day in our lives. In fact the ones I will be describing in the essay.

· Alcoholism.

· Drug addiction.

· Violence.

· Resignation.

· As some people strive for a better world.
