Introduction

In the 7th semester of this major, we are dealing with formative subjects in which we are learning how to teach, how to perform our classes, how apply approaches, methodologies and techniques of teaching. One of these subjects is Teaching English for Primary Education where we have learnt a lot about how to be great teachers and how to perform the roles that we are going to develop in a near future. Now, new important contents were taught and the main ones include how to teach receptive and productive skills and how to create tests and tasks to assess to our students.

In English the 4 skills are the main point of the language, as students, we must develop them in the best way we can improve our second language all the time, improve our listening, speaking, writing and reading skills to teach them in best way too.

Another important point that we are leaning in this subject, is how to create evaluations and tests for the students and the way in which we have to organise them and what we have to evaluate. The most important thing that we have learnt until now is that the characteristics of a good test are validity, reliability and practicability and have to learn how to apply that in test to assess according with that.

There are a lot of reasons to say that this subject is very important. All the topics that we are dealing with are important pieces of our formation as teachers and we should learn them by heart in order to be great teachers and form students in the best way possible. Is our responsibility collecting all the information that we can and in that way learn about teaching and all that this involve.

Conclusion

Teaching English for Primary Education is a subject in which we dealt with contents about how to teach a second language, these portfolio we dealt with the most relevant information in this semester, and we hope to show the knowledge that we have acquired through the classes. All of this based on the books created by famous writers, who made a useful and complete book.

During this semester, we focused our learning in how teach the learning capcity of young learners, strategies to create activities and how the students learn, the mental processes that they use and all the necessary information that we ,as future teachers, must know to accomplish our objectives with the class.

This work is important to us, because we are going to show our knowledge and the most relevant things taught to improve our formation and learn as many as we can to be great teachers in a near future.
