Be Going To

PLANS You can use be going to + infinitive to talk about about future plans . It expresses an intention, decis decision which has already been made. e.g. : I am going to tell him this evening. She isn’t going to work there.. Are you going to read the book ? PRESENT EVIDENCE You can also use be going to + infinitive to predict future from present evidence. The future event is on the way. e.g. : Look at the clouds. It’s going to rain ! Look at the boy. He’s going to fall. Match the two columns using be going to . e.g. Jack is afraid of flying.
