Calzones Rotos

To do the calzones rotos, we need the following ingredients:
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¾ cups sugar
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• Grated orange or lemon
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup milk
• 1 tablespoon oil
Well, to begin, put in a bowl the flour, the baking powder, the sugar, the salt and the eggs. When they are well scrambled, add the milk and the oil, and continue stirring. After that, add the grated orange or lemon. The mass has to be soft. Knead the mass between 5 to 7 minutes.
After you knead the mass, leave it to stand between 7 to 10 minutes. Later, knead the mass again, until you have a mass of half centimeter, then cut the mass in rectangles of 5 x 10 centimeters and a vertical cut of 3 centimeters. We take one end of the rectangles and we pass this extreme through the middle cut.
In a skillet, heat the oil where we fry the calzones rotos. Be sure that the oil is very hot. Fry the calzones rotos at least 2 minutes; they don’t have to be so much gold, because they become hard. Put the fry calzones rotos in a tray with absorbent paper, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. And the calzones rotos are ready to eat! Enjoy.
