1. CONVERSATIONS WITH A PARTNER BUSINESS
Leslie is from EE.UU and She is planning to go to Perú for doing business. She wants to export clothes to Perú and she is looking for a contact.
Jeffrey lives in Perú and he is going to open clothes stores around Lima. They are talking by internet and Leslie decide to do a business trip to Perú to meet with Jeffrey, so Leslie need information about Perú.
A: Hi Leslie, How are you?
B: I’m good Jeffrey. How about you?
A: Fine thanks, what day you leave from USA?
B: I’m going to leave January 08 and I’m going to arrive to Perú in the afternoon, like 5pm. Please help me with my hotel booked.
A: No problem Leslie, What kind of hotel do you prefer? 3, 4 or 5 starts?
B: I prefer 5 starts but I want that hotel will be near to Lima Center.
A: That’s no problem. There are two hotels in Lima center and it’s close to my office. There are “Costal del Sol Hotel” and “Tummy Hotel”.
B: What is the different between them?
A: For example:
“Costa del Sol Hotel” is bigger than "Tummy Hotel”, “Tummy Hotel” is cheaper than “Costa del Sol Hotel”, “Costa del Sol Hotel” is the most popular hotel of all, “Tummy Hotel” is more near to Lima Center than “Costa del Sol Hotel” and also “Costa del Sol Hotel” service is faster than “Tummy Hotel” service.
B: Perfect, I choose “Costa del Sol Hotel” because sound great.
A: OK, I’m going to book right now. Do you need something else?
B: Yes, How is the weather?
A: Now the weather is warm because is summer but sometimes it’s raining.
B: And about food? What do you recommend?
duck, lomo saltado, etc. No problem you can choose that you want it because I’m going to help you about that. I usually have a breakfast and lunch in different restaurant and maybe you can come with me.
B: Ok Thanks, to change the subject I heard there is a lot of traffic in Lima, Can I do something about that?
A: Maybe you can rent a car or take a taxi. I’m going to give you some taxis referential.
B: Thanks, I know you use Nuevo sol coins, but how much is the exchange rate?
A: the exchange rate is two time and half soles approx.; an advice! Here in Perú people doesn’t accept old bills, so bring your new bills to avoid problems.
B: Yesterday I was talking with my cousin, she told me he traveled to Peru five 3 years ago and she got a good agency travel for doing adventure tourism. This agency is called Intej and its office is in Barranco. Do you know if Intej agency keeps on working yet? Because anybody answer me on the telephone.
A: Yes it works, the last week I booked
