LOCATION

Turkey is a south-west Europe and southwestern Asia. It borders the Black Sea to the north, Georgia, Armenia and Iran to the east, Syria and Iraq to the southwest, with the Mediterranean Sea to the south, the Aegean Sea to the west, and Greece and Bulgaria to the Northwest

HISTORY

Due to its strategic position, being located between Europe and Asia and between three seas, Turkey has been a historical crossroads between cultures and Eastern and Western civilizations.
