Objective:

The objective of this activity is to read on page 193 the information about what is a public service announcement, then using my own ideas I have to create a radio message about the vaccination season.

Procedure:

In order to complete this activity I:

• Read the information on page 193 on my text book.

• I also invent some of the necessary information.

Results:

Remember that before it begins this winter season you have to take all children under 6 years old and all grownups above 60 years old to be vaccinated; we will be applying vaccines against Flu, Influenza, and pneumococcus. This is to prevent all the complications of respiratory diseases. Avoid exposing yourself to sudden temperature changes. Drink plenty of liquids and wrap up well before leaving your home.

If you present runny nose, body aches, fever, put in contact with your doctor, also do it so if you present any breathing difficulty along with chest pain.

Do not leave your love ones unprotected, vaccines can save their lives. Conclusion:

In some seasons like winter we are more likely to be sick, this is why before the cold days arrive, the public health care department launches a vaccination season so children and third age adults can be protected from the complications of the respiratory diseases. Vaccines help our body to create antibodies that help us combat diseases that can cause in some cases death.
