BACKGROUND

The company UP has a headquarters located in Atlanta Georgia. in the 1990's UP was the company more successful due to its effective treatments that produced for people who have diabetes and Parkinson’s disease. but lately the company not succeeded over the years due to their asthma medications showed side effects that affected persons and was withdrawn from the market. the company was discredited when a newspaper public articles in which they criticized the methods used by sellers of UP. the writer of these articles which questioned that if the company first put ethics before profits.

SITUATION

1. The first situation is to create a drug to combat the disease river blindness, the majority of people may not acquire this medication because of lack of money in addition to that it is going to take 10 years and 100 million to perform this medicine for which needs financing of investors and a large investment by them, the objective of the company is to again get a good reputation.
2. The second situation is a reflection of the results of PX200 which is a new drug to combat the disease of the heart to had good results but in recent tests reflect the results were disappointing because in some patients to produced problems for respiratory and other side effects that occurred after taking the medicine but on the other hand other patients have had good results to consume the same medicine as in blood pressure lower and less pain.

ANALYSIS SOLUTION

1. The solution to create a medicine is that this economic reach of consumers for that is about the economic situation in the country who wants to sell their product in addition to that has to see new investors who want to invest in the product and seek cheap labor in another country for the development of the drug and that should create a drug without side effects that could damage the health of their customer they have to consider the benefit that the patient will have to time to consume the drug
2. The solution to this situation is to publish the results that reflect the tests that were made to the medication PX200 so that clients are informed of what is happening with the medication but should also say the changes that are made to the medication so that the company can maintain its image and continue gaining prestige to demonstrate that the company has social responsibility with the customers.

CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION

In conclusion the company has to two situations with the medication that produces which have similar problems in which it has to improve the products for that should be based on their professional ethics and principles.

I recommend to the company is that does not seek to make a profit with their products when they know that even lack to improve in addition you must create products that are the economic reach of people, should also look at options for financing the development of the product
