He was a boy named Leonidas who was trained to be a warrior and fight for his people in Sparta, grew up and became the king of Sparta, The Spartans were a people that was born and train to fight for war. The Spartans child were examined by a committee of elders in the porch, to determine whether it was beautiful and well trained and if it was not like they considered a useless mouth and a burden to the city. Consequently, you are led to Apostates, it was a place where leave them by them self at the foot of Mount Taygetos, where he was thrown into a ravine, Briefly carrying out a natural selection which led to the Spartan soldier was a killing machine almost perfect .A long time ago the Persians who were his enemies had intentions to conquer Greece and when determined not run with the same fate as his father Darius defeated at the Battle of Marathon to hand the Greeks during the First Xerxes appears in the Medical War. Xerxes form an army to fight the Greek junta and 300 thousand soldiers.
The Greek army had 300 Spartans, a much-feared section of the Persian army were archers and when told that King Leonidas arrows cover the sun and turned day into night he replied ” Better, we fight in the shade” When the battle begins, row after row the Persians crashed Spartan spears and shields without these yielded a step. Thus, despite the serious outnumbered, Leonidas and his men were opposed to the waves of enemy soldiers with a minimum number of casualties.
After several days of war Xerxes decided to send 10,000 immortal soldiers thinking that these would put an end to the battle, they fought immortals as they had never done; but they could do little against the shields and spears of the phalanx and were defeated. With this Persian army morale was in the floor and just as they were about to turn around and get out among the Greeks appeared a traitor. Epilates break s the loyalty and gave to the Persians that was a path between the mountains which could reach without realizing the men’s of Leonidas
When Leonidas realizes that they will be attacked by two fronts simultaneously, he knows that will be a lost and he ordered the withdrawal of his men to Athens and to initiate the evacuation of the city. Only 300 soldiers guard and thousand Greeks who were loyal to him and so was the courage and strength with which the Spartans fought that Xerxes decided to overthrow them away with his archers to prevent the death of his soldiers. Leonidas make a fair and strong fight even that he knows that was hard to win his fight he keep going forward but he was hit by an arrow and the last Spartans died trying to recover his body to avoid falling into enemy hands. Finally the Persians had been victorious but the Greeks have the glory.
