Writing and Speaking Practice: Write a small dialog using the vocabulary given. Be creative, then perform it in front of the class.

3-Singular and Plural (Nouns).

a- If the nouns ends in CH, SH, O, X, SS add ES to the words.

Examples:   Church – Churches     Fox – Foxes     Kiss – Kisses     Dish – Dishes

                     Tomato – Tomatoes    Box – Boxes    Beach – Beaches

b- If the noun ends in Consonant + Y, drop the Y and add IES to the words.

Examples:   City – Cities      Country – Countries     Lady – Ladies     Fly - Flies

c- If the noun ends in Vowel + Y, add just S to the words.

Examples:    Boy – Boys       Key – Keys       Toy – Toys

d- If the nouns ends in F, FE, change F / Fe and write VES.

Examples:     Life – Lives    Knife – Knives     Wife – Wives    Wolf - Wolves

e- Add S to the rest of the words.

Examples:    Dog – Dogs      School – Schools      Computer - Computers
