1. A Brand: a type of product made by a particular company.
2. Launch: to introduce a new product, with advertising and publicity.
3. A consumer: a person who buys goods or services.
4. An end-user: a person who buys and uses a product, as opposed to someone who buys then sells the products.
5. Market research: the collecting and processing of information about customers; how they feel about a product and why they will or will not use a product or service.
6. Public relations: creating and maintaining a good image with your customers and the public.
7. Corporate identity: the colors, designs and words, which a company uses to communicate its philosophy and make a statement about itself and products.
8. Banner ad: an advertisement seen on the Internet, often in the form of a rectangle at the top of an Internet page.
9. Circulation: the average number of copies of a newspaper or magazine distributed; the number of people who will potentially see it.
10. Macromarketing: is how products and prices create demand and consequently have an influence on what is sold in a region.
11. Sponsor: firm supporting an organisation in return for advertising space.
12. S.W.O.T.: Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
13. Total product: the whole product, inc. name, packaging, instructions, reliability, after-sales ETC.
14. Trademark: special symbol, design, word etc used to represent a product or firm.
15. Distribution: the delivering of products to end-users, inc. advertising, storing etc.
