Movies vs. books
Reading give us the chance to open our minds into a different world where we can use our imagination and learn a lot of new things, unfortunately, people and especially teenagers have lost this habit and they prefer to watch movies instead of reading a good book, but what they do not realize is that reading can give them a better experience than watching a movie.
In the first place, watching a movie has several disadvantages people normally prefer the movies because they think that it is more interesting and that they do not need to spend much time watching them. Secondly, watching a movie make us lazy, we do not go out home and spend hours lying on a bed in front of a television. Additionally, movies do not give us the chance to keep our mind going because we see everything and we cannot imagine any situation. Also movies usually change some parts of the stories that are written on books and in some cases they even change the sense of the story.
On the other hand we have the advantages of reading a book; first of all, books do not need much time to be read too, we can read in our free time or every night before sleeping. Moreover, when we read a book, we can picture the places where the story is being narrated or the aspect of the characters, so we keep our mind going and we use our imagination. Furthermore, when we read the book we are closer to the story because it has more details as it is longer than a movie.
In conclusion, a book can take us to a different world and bring us exciting emotions and moments that we can only live while reading.
