Loss of local cultural and community identity
The identity cultural is a set of values, traditions, symbols and modems of behavior that function as elements within a social group.
In addition the identity cultural of a society can be lost as is the preference take customs of others countries and not using your proper custom.
On the other part the origin the problem is in the displacements that are forced to make people some countries and others by removing the elements of identity of towns and culture; large companies strive every day to sell our raw materials, exporting it and causing them to lose their identity as companies who buy renamed the product.
In Colombia, it feels a great loss of cultural diversity, because of the homogenization of victims thousands of cultures succumbing to the imposition of Western culture as "ideal" lifestyle. In my view, there are several causes of this reality: the imposition of the capitalist economic model, the hand of the armed forces and violence, often generates many journeys rooted populations and established in areas of high strategic interest, either floor monocultures (such as soybeans), oil exploration wells, or factories in the developed world no longer fit. Cultural and identity of peoples loss occurs at the moment when these actions are carried out without any respect for the cultures of the area, a fact that allows establish and homogenize consumption patterns and own production system we know. An example of this are, according to official data, more than 1,390,000 indigenous of Colombia (3.36% of the total national population -Ministry of Culture) suffering from major problems to ensure their livelihood, to processes of colonization or expropriation, war or changes in environmental conditions and natural cycles, induced by climate change, which also depend.
