The Last Trip Together

THE LAST TRIP TOGETHER

As the days were passing, the anxiety about the excursion to Puerto Sal in Peru was very palpable. However was not only the anxiety that was affecting us, the tension and the concern about the exams have taken the leading role. Happily, the coming of holidays helped us to break through these moments. Thanks to the fusion of these feelings, the result was a memorable trip.

When the day had finally arrived, everyone was so sleepy that with the lowest sound, we jumped as a little girl. It was sad that not all the students came to the trek, but still we need to continue and have fun for them. By the time the busses showed up, all the students included the parents and teachers forgot the sleep, and the look of their faces, included myself, changed to a big smile.

At the beginning, our goal of the trip was to have an enjoyable time, nevertheless, our expectations rose higher than ever. We realized that this was a period of integration because it looks weird to imagine that how we spent with this people for more than 6 years and still we don´t know anything about them. This was also a time of letting out all those regrets that we were holding for so long.

As we were in the resort, I understood that we were having less time to spend with my prom; I was feeling that the hours were getting shorter every day. Peru also gave me the opportunity of trying new things, meeting new people and tasting a diverse cuisine. I actually renewed old bonds of friendships that I had dropped in the past.

To be honest, I was not sure about this trip because I had previously the worst holidays ever. But at this point of my life, I am happy that I did it. Personally, I consider this trip a journey of amazing experiences and unforgettable moments which I will achieve not only in my brain but also in my heart. It doesn´t matter how different our lives will become, I know that we will always have each other back.
