• TENACATITA BAY
• TENACATITA BAY, IN THE STATE OF JALISCO, A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FOR DIVING, SNORKELING AND SWIMMING, FEATURES IMMACULATE SPACES OF NATURAL BEAUTY AND AMAZING TRANQUILITY. THE BAY’S BEACHES INCLUDE LA MANZANILLA, BOCA DE IGUANAS, LOS ANGELES LOCOS, PUNTA SERENA, TENACATITA AND TECUAN.
• COBA CENOTE
• CALLED TANKACH HA, MEANING “DEEP WÁTER”, THIS IS THE DEEPEST OF THE REGION’S THREE CENOTES, WITH DEPHTS OF UP TO 35 METERS. TO REACH THE CENOTE, YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN SPIRAL STAIRS DECORATED WITH LOCAL FAUNA.
• SAYIL MAYAN PALACE
• THE GREAT PLACE OF SAYIL IS ONE OF THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE FEATURES, WITH GEOMETRICAL SHAPES, PLANTS AND SERPENTS SET INTO THE WALLS, ALONG WITH MASKS OF THE RAIN GOD CHOC.
• BACALAR LAGOON
• THE BACALAR LAGOON, OR THE SEVEN-COLOR LAGOON, IS LOCATED IN SOUTHERN QUINTANA ROO. ITS NAME REFERS TO THE DIFFERENT BLUE HUES OF ITS WATERS FROM THE SEVEN DIFFERENT CENOTES THAT FEED THIS BEAUTIFUL LAGOON.
The time Arcj
One of the largest of its kind inn the Word, this 180-meter natural Stone arch is found in the La Venta River canyon in the state of Chiapas. The cantyon is a 80-kilometer long ravine with walls up to 400 meters high, with widths of as Little as 10 meters at certain points. It also features aves, waterfalls along its walls and scenic lookouts
Cave of Swallows
In the state of San Luis Potosí, this is one of Mexico’s oddest and most wonderful places. Though known as the Cave of Swallos, the residents birds are in fact white-collared swifts and cave parakeets may also be seen. The cave is not tan spectacular-it is majestic and awe-inspiring. The surroundings waterfalls, rivers and vegetation are also indescribably beautiful.
Naica Caves
These caves in thw state of Chihuahua contain the world’s largest known selenite crystals (alabaster), up to 14 meters long, whose transparency and shine are seen in enormous pieces and peculiar shapes. Found 300 meters underground, the crystals have been dated up to 100 years, and some as recently as the year 2000.
Vizcaino Whale Sanctuary
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Vizcaino Whale Sanctuary in Baja California Sur is a major site for the gray whale. The Ojo de Liebre and San Ignacio lagoons are ideal mating sites and provide a Winter retreat for numerous seabirds. The sanctuary also features harbor seals, California sea lions, northern elephant seals and blue whales, in addition to four endangered tortoise species.
