Why people love to eat junk food?
Junk Food is one of the biggest problems in people`s lives. The reason is that this type of food is not healthier but instead it is delicious, even though it increases the probability of getting diabetes, cancer or other diseases. However, there is now an awareness to make people stop eating this type of food.
The main goal of this essay is to discuss the danger of junk food and the health problems that it represents to the human body, and also to identify the main question of what makes people prefer to eat junk food that puts at risk the health of the people rather than eat healthy food to stay wealthy.
What makes Junk Food so delicious? Junk food is well known to be delicious because it tastes good for the palate but this is just another trick of the big restaurant franchises or the big companies to make you bought them. It is very important to know that this type of food it is unhealthy and can develop a huge risk in your health in the future.
Since we were kids our mothers told us to eat our vegetables and eat healthy, but it seems that we always try to do the opposite. If for example, someone told you to eat a vegetable or a candy, you would eat the candy because it is more delicious, even though you know that the candy has a lot of sugar and it is not healthier.
However, eating junk food has some advantages for a certain group of customers, for example, college students are more susceptible to eat in fast food restaurants because of their lack of time, and also another advantage is that maybe it is more affordable for students to eat this type of food than go to the supermarket to prepare food during the weekend. The problem with this food is that even though you migth think that a hamburger has a great level of protein, b this is truly false, because the meat was frozen before, and then lost all the nutrients.
The disadvantage of eating this type of food is, as I already said, is that in the long term you could develop some diseases, such as, high cholesterol levels, diabetes and cancer, because it is well known that meat could produce cancer cells.
In conclusion, I think there must be a balance between the foods you eat in your daily life, and truly you do not have to be extremist in this topic, because it is not right. in my point of view, the people that never again eat other types of food that are not vegetarian, or on the other hand, people that do not eat other things are not are both wrong. You have to combine or take the better of these two types of food and you will be wealthy.
