Hello, my name is Lorens Tejeda, currently i have 3 years working and studying at the same time, and I confess it isn’t as easy! It is very good to start making money early, but it is a challenge to deal with both. What do you think of work and study? For various reasons, many young people choose to work while attending school. It could be by necessity, to feel proactive or to want to start being independent. This is my case! For me and for many is a challenge to deal with this, because sometimes we do not know how to cope each of these activities, because they demands time, effort and dedication. While the work is urgent and daily, study is a long-term investment, and the result is the opportunity to apply for other positions.

The schedules of work and the schedules of classes coincide us and for this reason many people who study and work at the same time have to leave their jobs. And few institutions are governed by the Labour Code.

III. Explain why there needs to be a change

-We’re the managers of the future.

-We have to practice what we learn while studying.

- Anyone who wants to excel in the workplace and aspire to something more, must study and prepare more.

VI. How this change can be done

-The companies must be more flexible with the young persons who want to join the labor area.

-The companies must be obligated to abide the Labour Code.

-Universities must accommodate class schedules.

To Work and study whit the limitations that we currently have is a challenge because of the classes schedules and the little flexibility in schedules offered by companies. but when you possess a labor experience, you demonstrate that you have the sufficient discipline not to neglect your studies while working. It will be two points to your favor.

As enterprising young persons that we are, we are in search of a great future, and we must fight with the Universities and the companies, to help us overcome mutually, because every one has and work for different needs.
