MONSANTO CORN

Monsanto is a company dedicated to multinational agricultural biotechnology. This corporation created a new product; “Monsanto corn” which was supposed to be better than all the other corn producing companies. Monsanto was among the first to genetically modify a plan cell, they were a pioneer in applying the biotchnology industry bussines model. This new product was supposed to be harmless with an excellent flavour and 100% free from bacterias, but it was all a lie, and this “science miracle” has to be discontinued because its harming peoples health. Unfortunately the Monsanto corn buyers started developing some diseases that caused serious health issues and most of them were irreversible.

When all the Monsanto corn problems were released chaos was too, people were scared and as dramatic as it may sound, they feared for their lives, and someone had to do something. In a study that prompted criticism from other experts, French scientists said on Wednesday that rats fed on Monsanto's genetically modified (GM) corn or exposed to its top-selling weedkiller suffered tumors and multiple organ damage (kelland & Hirschler, 2012). Once the Monsanto corn buyers realized what this product was doing to their health they all went mad, Monsanto got thousands of sues and even the government had to entervene. This issues went so big that even the CDC had to do something, they took part on the problem and ended up confirming everything about the corn… they were a “tumor machine”. The people who developed tumors and other diseases tried to get a cure, some were able to get a treatment, other had to be operated and others had no cure…

The Monsanto corn had toxins to avoid bugs from feeding on it or bacterias to harm its condition and after some time they dissolved and were ready to be in your dinner table 100% free from bacterias. Some recent investigations and studies, along with the observation that Bt protein is present in the blood of pregnant women and their babies makes it an urgent matter for the health impacts of Bt proteins in GMO crops to be thoroughly investigated along with the known effects on the environment and non-target species (Sirinathsinghji, 2012). Many experiments were made with the corn to prove how dangerous it was, every country to where Monsanto exported took preventive measurements and they all agreed on its high degree of toxins. Monsanto’s GM sweet corn contains Bt toxin, a pesticide designed to rupture the stomach of the insects that eat it, Monsanto insisted it’s safe for humans, yet rats who ate potatoes with Bt suffered from intestinal damage and the toxin has never even been tested on humans. Monsanto also claims that Bt toxin breaks down in our digestive systems but it has been detected in the blood of pregnant women and unborn babies.
