Some factors favoring the phenomenon of drug addiction can be classified as follows:
- Social factors: Actuality, there is a wide availability of drugs, legal and illegal, making it much easier to access and use thereof.[pic 4]
Some drugs, such as ecstasy, are "fashionable", and practically can be obtained at any nightclub. Children and youth living on the streets can get glue to inhale. The desire to belong to a group, of being part of a social circle, and the pressure from our "friends " can also do that we are forced to drug use.
- Familial factors: Children of smokers , drinkers or drug addicts parents are more likely to use drugs than children of parents who are not. A family atmosphere where there is no discipline, respect, or in some cases where it is too the scheme or overprotection may also encourage drug use. Inattent ion, divided families, or continuous fighting, etc. They contribute to the risk environment in which the only way out is drug addiction.
- Factors individual type: Many personal factors may influence the decision to use drugs. These can be seen as a way to escape everyday problems; Some people use them as a means to compensate for frustration, loneliness, low self-esteem or emotional problems.
