Me and my Family

Hello, my name is Joseph, I’m 16 years old and I am going to write about my family. I don't have a very big family, I only have 3 aunts, 2 uncles in law, 1 step uncle, only 1 grandma and two grandpas and 5 cousins.

Two of my aunts are my mom’s sisters. The older works for the MINAET and her name is Cristina. She is married with Olivier (my uncle in law) and they have two children. Both are men and the youngest is Andrés and he is 24 years old. He has an older brother that is 27 seven years old and his name is Jose Pablo. He is the oldest cousin of my family. Marcela, the aunt who is in the middle, is a headmistress and her husband Harry is a sports teacher. He is 53 years old and he with my aunt have two daughters, Ariana and Arlín. Ariana is 14 years old and she studies in the same high school that I do. Arlín is the youngest female cousin that I have and she is 12 years old and for this reason she gets all the attention of my family.

My other aunt is my father’s sister and her name is Vetsy. She is younger than my father and she is 38 years old. She is an artist and now she finished the studies to be a teacher. She is a single mother and her son was born 7 years ago. My cousin’s name is Joel and he is very intelligent and funny. He is the center of attention of all my father’s family.

I have 2 grandfathers and one grandmother because the other one died like 17 years old. She was my mother’s mom and her name was Alba. She married with my grandfather Jose Luis. They got 3 daughters my aunts, Marcela and Cristina, and my mom, Sylvia. They divorced and my mom’s father had a son with another woman. He is name is Jose Luis like my grandfather and he is my mom and aunt’s step brother. So I can say that he is my uncle in law but I see him a couple of times. I don't have a good relationship with this grandfather, I never see him and I have never talked with him.

For my father’s side I can say that I have a good relationship with my grandma and my grandpa. My grandma’s name is Olga and she got married with Juan José (my grandpa). They have two children, my father (Johnny) and his sister (my aunt Betsy). My grandpa and grandma got divorced many years ago. One funny thing is that that got divorced but actually they are neighborhoods and lives next door the other.

My father is the oldest of his family and my mom is the youngest form her family. My dad and my mom are 39 years old. My mother is older than my father only like for 5 months but is funny that the people think that my father is older. Sometimes when we go to a restaurant the waiter think that my mom is a sister of my brother and me. My brother’s name is Cristopher and he is 19 years old.
