Registration process at IAU

Every university has their own registration process usually they promote to attract students to study in their university. In this case the IAU always has an open house in order to begin the registration process and have students see what their options are of all the different concentrations. After attending to the open house, students are sent to the orientation office in order to ask all the questions they have about the concentration that they are interest on. Also the orientation office has a website where it asks several questions to help the student choose the correct concentration that goes with their interest. It’s always important for the student to go to the orientation office, so all their questions and concerns are answered. The benefit of the orientation office is that they have all the information about the concentration classes. The people who work there have lots of experience and give the correct advice to all the students about the way they should handle their credits during the semester. In order to have a successful semester the students should always go to this office to get assorted with all the correct information. After the students has been orientated of the courses that belongs to the concentration that their interest they must go to the admission office.

In the admission office the students would get an application form which they must fill out with all their information. The back of the form it states all the documents that the student should bring in order to admit to the university. When the students fill the application they will turn it in at the admission office. After words bring all the documents that it stated to bring and also turn it in. in the process of turning in the application the person who is attending the student will give them a receipt just in case they can valid the information if any documents go missing. It’s very important that the students keep safe all the copies and receipt that are handed to them, because that helps them make claims if the system of the university shows any different status of the student applications. Once the students has completed the application process they must wait until the university sends a letter stating that they have been selected to be part of the IAU.

Once the students get that letter, they must pass immediately to the university in order to finish the registration process. They would go to the orientation office and show the letter. This letter demonstrates the concentration, College Board, GPA from high school and student identification number of the university. This would be shown in the office, so the person that is in charged would help them choose their right courses that go along with their concentration that the student was admitted too. The student would have the choice of selecting which basic courses they would like to take first and so on. The person who is helping the student do their class schedule must make sure that they have 12 credits or more, so the federal aid scholarship pays the courses that they have selected. After the student has selected heir courses and passes it on the correct form they must turn it in to the registration office.

In the registration office they would take the form of all the courses that the student had selected to take during that semester. The student will receive a copy of the form and they must keep safe the copy just in case of any confusion in the system of the university. After two to three weeks the student will receive a copy of the class schedule stating if it was approved and to go to the university to pay for the courses. They will pass by the registration office, demonstrate the document and select the method of payments.
