The main idea of the story is how much the mother nags for everything the daughter’s do.

1. The mother is described in story as nagging, talkative, as the dominant person in the family, loving, and special.
2. The description of the narrator as per what I read is a young girl who doesn’t like to be boss very much, who goes to school and is respectful.
3. The mother of the girls nag about the time that it take them to wash their teeth and nags if they don’t empty the dishes when eating.
4. As per the narrator the mother prepares a breakfast as if she thought that would be there last meal. Very often she filled the plates with eggs, ham, toasts, jelly or jam and sometimes, Fresh fries.
5. I believe that the mother wants their daughters to eat well before going to school because she wants them to be healthy since they are still growing and so they could learn better. Is not good to take classes hungry.
6. The mother shows her love to her daughters when they forgot their projects and she goes back to the home and bring it back to the school. Other way is by worrying for the girls to be healthy.
7. Yes, the mother accepts that she is a nagging person. At night before the girls go to sleep she asks for forgiveness for being so nagging and explains to their daughters that is her personality.
8. The narrator says that her mother is special because even thought her mother is very nagging she also loves them very much and is a lot of other things.
9. The father is a very hard worker, doesn’t talk very much and likes the routines. Yes the father has a passive role in the family because he hardly talks, most of the times he doesn’t respond and always agree with what the mothers says.
10. Yes, I believe the narrator is a happy person because she is just letting us know how her mother is but that even though she is complaining about the nagging of her mother; She also mentions how special and loving her mother is. The nagging it can be disturbing sometimes but apparently that one the things that made her mother special.

2. Lisa’s most silent characteristics are that she still a young girl scare to be home alone.
