“IMMORTAL SOUL”

For Plato the soul is immortal, because as you say the word, it never dies, this is the WORLD OF IDEAS where everything is perfect, but that it falls into the world that is an exact copy of the real world, I mean the world of ideas, in this world she is imprisoned in the body, cannot remember if it was he who said the body was necessary for the experience, because when the soul falls into this world, forget everything and remember to lack a body, after he reached his goal, because we all have a purpose in life, this leaves the world of ideas where it belongs (only the soul goes to the real world or ideas, or the perfect world as you want to call it) I mean that the soul never dies, it is like a cycle.

For Plato in man there is a body but this is linked to the senses, but the word of God teaches that the soul is what makes man being a rational individual with the understanding that only God can give, because the creator made when man in His image , as we read in Genesis 1:26 and 27:

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness ; and have dominion over the fish of the sea , and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle , and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

For Plato every man has an immortal soul and always when you use your senses , but in the Bible God is described as immortal ( 1 Tim 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal , invisible, the only wise God , be honor and glory forever and ever Amen . . Ro 1:23 and it changed the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles, and that he alone possesses immortality. (1 Timothy 6:16 who only hath immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light. whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting, Amen . . .) It is obvious that none of. These passages give the slightest support to the widely held view that immortality is inherent in man idea.

Also found in San Marco 8:36 God tells us HOW WE SERVE a MAN WIN ALL THE RICHES OF THE WORLD, IF YOU LOSE YOUR ALMA? Christ in this verse shows that the most precious of our existence is the soul and not the material wealth of this world.

In conclusion I could say that for Plato, the human soul is immortal because they come from the world of ideas, the human soul is eternal being pre-existing and existing post, and also picked up the doctrine of reincarnation and metempsychosis (migration the soul) of the Pythagoreans. In its ideal state, souls are in eternal contemplation until for some reason that Plato cannot explain exactly, souls fall from the ideal and incarnate in bodies. This is considered as a punishment and alienation from Plato himself. The dimension of the human body is a necessary evil, is the prison of the
