Organized Crime is one of the biggest problems in México, is always been there, but recently is getting bigger and more dangerous. The first things that move in organized crime are drugs, and people are the ones who keep that business flowing by buying the product. Of course is not a legal business that is why cartels do it so “silence”. There are people who have been affected by organized crime first-hand. What organized crime does is to threat, the most of the time, innocent people or people that owe them money. In my case my dad has been threaten a couple of times but both were just fake threats.
The first time I got affected by organized crime was when my uncle passed away, and it was because he used to be short of money so he needed some of it, and he did not do it so well by getting into organized crime, that was the moment I decided to took the right way.
The second time I got affected by it, emotionally too, was when I almost lost my grandparents when they got attacked by criminals in their house. That means that it doesn’t matter what kind of people they attack, they do it for money without caring about people.
People say that the government is related to the organized crime but there is actually not too much people can do to solve this, just to stay away from it but some people just don’t see the danger of getting into it.
In my conclusion organized crime is a business that cares about money and it is supported by the people who buy their products. People who make organized crime does not care about other people, they just care about the money. So my position in this issue is just a teenager that can stay away from that, and that is my way to support the society and not the organized crime.
