INTRODUCTION
THE NORTHERN ZONE INCLUDES REGIONS XV, I, II, III AND IV OF OUR COUNTRY. IT HAS LOTS OF CULTURE IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR COUNTRIES NEIGHBORS, MAINLY PERU AND BOLIVIA. IS CHARACTERIZED BY DESERT CLIMATE, COLD IN THE NIGHT HEAT OF DAY, SO THEIR COSTUMES TYPICAL CONTEMPORARY FEATURES TO COMBAT LOW TEMPERATURE AND PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE SUN DANCES ARE FAST PACED AND INFLUENCED BY RELIGIOUS MOTIVATIONS. THE INSTRUMENTS ARE MADE PRIMARILY OF WOOD AND SOME ANIMALS IN THE AREA THIS RESEARCH SAMPLE PRIMARILY DANCES, COSTUMES AND INSTRUMENTS IN THIS AREA
MUSIC
Indigenous music more old which is known in the area of the Chilean North corresponds to the Aymara cultures, then Quechua originated in Tarapaca.musica of the Andean and coastal area still receiving the influence of the Incas retains elements of its ancient cultures, sheltered and protected by isolation of urban centers and because access to the territory that hosts them requires long hours of travel by broken Plains and dusty solitary places.

2. DANCE
Much of the artistic expressions of the North zone of Chile are influenced by the Aymara culture and its religious transculturation. In this article you will find a list of the main dances of the northern part of the country.
Huaina
It is a popular dance characteristic of the I and II Region. The Huaina, Huainito, or trot, is interpreted mainly to celebrate the agropastoral and religious festivals. It of a collective dance or couple, whose name in quechua means: dance. Like the Cacharpalla, the Huaina is pre-Columbian origin.
Cachimbo
He is considered the most traditional of the dances in the North of the country, mainly in the lower areas of the first Region of great influence Altiplano. It is similar to the cueca, since he wears the conquest of male with a pretty lady, guided by the graceful movement of handkerchiefs.
