Business Model

Customer Strategy Business Model

What a business using that model does.         

Mainly, companies under this business model see customers as their only source of revenue. Their main goal is to sell as many products as possible to one customer at a time.

I believe I have found the name of our business model. It's called Customer Strategy Business Model. The properties of this model are:

1. Company sees customers as - by definition- the only source of revenue

2. Customer manager sells as many products as possible to one customer at a time

3. Differentiate customers from each other

4. Collaborate with customers

5. Find a constant stream of new business from established customers

6. Co. makes sure each customer is profitable, even if that means loosing money on an occasional product or transaction

7. Use interactive communication to determine individual needs and communicate with each individual

I am not too aware of the culture at Disney or the other one. But from general knowledge, all the discussions I have had in different classes and with you all, it seems to fit in. Please let me know what you think. I will continue to do my research today and tomorrow. i will share with all anything else I think is of importance.

Now, our 2 companies have a customer-centric business strategy; focus is on creating a memorable customer experience for families. They generate money by a) attracting families b) giving them more things to spend on c) repeat purchase/service d) brand loyalty
