1.- Everything begins earlier in Pink’s life; when he’s a kid the mother is extremely overprotective with him, this isolates him from reality and makes him be cooped up, and then is when Pink goes to the park and he sees other children with their parents and realize that he never met his parent, he hadn’t a parent. When he arrives home, in the drawers of her mother, he found father’s clothes and a few letters, and that way is how Pink find out the whole truth about the death of his father. This event makes in the main character a forced maturity, forcing him to take father’s role to his mother, which devotes him all her cares in an excessive way, traumatizing Pink’s childhood. In the school we can see how the conductism prevails in the class room and the teachers abuse of their students, humiliating them, this makes Pink repudiates the educative system. The overprotection of the mother marked Pink; making him to look up for the same link with his love objects, due this, when he got lovingly involved with a woman and realizes that she was unable to bring him that maternal protection, his nervous crisis increases and she, instead of coming in his help, cheats on him while Pink is on tour, destroying him emotionally, isolating him even more of people and reality and almost killing a groupie he led to the hotel room. Most of the following are processes that take place in Pink’s mind, an extreme neurosis caused by the wall makes him cut his eyebrows and corporal hair. During a drug overdose, in full concert, Pink hallucinates that his fans are his followers and he is a dictator like Hitler or Mussolini, he’s extremely cruel and he abuses of his power. When the effect of the drug begins to cease, Pink is slumped in a bathroom, there he gets tired of all this crap and it freaks to undergo a trial, where considerate all the isolation and inability to relate to others, that wall that was built by all his frustration, finally finds down the wall… the wall falls.
2.- We can clearly see the influence of history in the development of Pink’s personal life. World War II is the fact that triggers the whole traumatic experience on our main character. How is this connected with the movie? In the loss of the father, who went to the war leaving his son and wife entirely alone; the hallucinations of Pink looking like a dictator, a charismatic leader, giving speeches, etc; also, we can see the impact on Pink, when he dressed in the costume of the father and assumes a paternal role, as a replace of his father. We can also contemplate the repudiation of young people with regard to the war, the educational system, the ideologically polarized governments, fighting with police, raising signs and shouting insults against the ruling team; this field would be representing the known anti-war movements that begin to question the entire operation of the society.

a)The mother plays an important role in the film because she who overprotects Pink, depriving him of several of his freedoms. Pink is very important to her, because when he realizes, even though her mother never would have said why he had no father, that his father died in the war, he takes the role of emotional support for mother, making him mature early. Anyway, the mother constantly disconnects him from reality, since she lives in her world and overprotects him, showing her serious trauma cause the death of the father.
b)The teachers and the education system play a repressive role, being the strongest arm of the government in this regard, as they are who forms, through a behavioral ideology, the bricks that make up the wall, making them all equal, of the same form, turning students into machines and teach them through rules and not knowledge, composing an indifferent and uncritical society about its hierarchical structure, therefore, are elements of domination.
c)The government is one of the main enemies in the movie, as it is the government that decides the structure of the education system, the government is who promotes war and sends his people to die at the borders, it is the government who constantly represses its people to maintain ideological regime in the national reality, making all of us being part of the wall, and the wall of us, it lives inside everyone. Hence, the government is responsible for the martyrdom of the main character, which sees the government as the responsible of the death of his father, triggering all the misery and neurosis on Pink.

a)This symbol is interesting, because the hammer has the ability to build and destroy, is mechanical, of metal, systematic and rigid; this could represent the educational system, the behaviorist and structuralist government.
b)The wall represents the masses like bricks, all the same color, the same size, the same form, very rigid and very hard: the system fade us and makes us to be all equal, depriving us of our freedoms. It could also represent the continuous repression that everyone has inside, isolating us from reality, the wall is, in the case of Pink, overprotection of the mother, the loss of the father, the abuse of teachers, drugs, government, etc.
c)The flowers could be a representation of the relationship between Pink and his girlfriend, and we can appreciate how the flowers simulates a respective male and female sexual organs, flirting around, but undecided to come, culminating in penetration and subsequently the flowers turn into teethes trying to eliminate each other, symbolizing the treachery of the woman to Pink.
d)At the scene of the TV, looks like Pink is locked in his room, totally oblivious from reality and seeing absorbed in the screen, this can be represented as the window that has Pink of the "reality", therefore, is enough to him the reality that shows the TV, being an element that deprives him of the true reality and provides him that vision delivered by massive media due to the government.
