Objective:

Supply Chain Management is the topic that I would like to talk in this essay, being clear using the skills and strategies learnt in this course, the essay must have 250 words at least.

Procedure:

I read module 2 and 3 in this course, including from topic 5 until 12.

I chose supply chain logistics topic, I read a book from the library and then write it down in this report

Results:

Reading about Supply Chain Management and Logistics has been a pretty interesting topic that must be read in a complete basis.

In my experience as a student of Commerce and International Business is mandatory to know what is the system for supply chain logistics, knowing the topic from A to Z.

Every organization on the world try to let their consumers enjoy their products and able to use a high quality goods. The main focus in any business is the customer. However, large organization uses supply chain as a key of the success relationship between firms and customers.

Supply chain is a network of wholesalers, retailers, and distributors, and workers in the transport, storage facilities, and suppliers, and manufacturers who participate in the production, delivery and sale of the product to the consumer. A supply chain are among a group of facilities that coordinate activities among themselves to just a competition itself.

There are three main parts of the supply chain: first, supply focuses on raw materials which provides a comprehensive maker of how, when and where, second is manufacturing, it focus on converting raw materials to finished goods, finally is distribution, it focuses on ensuring that these products reach the consumer through a network of distributors and stores and retailers.

The simple supply chain consists of several elements connected by movement products. The elements are consumer, planning, buy, storage, production then delivery. In fact, it makes the organization very valuable in the marketplace also it would work in quality control that the firm's products are the best on the market.

To ensure that the supply chain to operate efficiently as possible and to generate the highest level of customer satisfaction at the lowest cost, companies have adopted supply chain management and technology accompanying her. To manage the supply chain are three levels of activities that focus on sections of the facility, a strategic, tactical, and operational.

The first level of manage the supply chain activities is strategy: At this level, established to consider a higher level of strategic decisions concerning the whole of the facility such as the size and location of manufacturing locations, partnering with suppliers, products manufactured and sales markets.
