- Interdependence and integration among countries

- Bad things are being globalized such as:
- Transnational Crime
- Terrorism
- Culture Appropriate
- Immigration
- Environmental problems
- Wealth inequality
Globalization: It’s a merge of many issues all over the world, it evolved to include services, intellectual property, labor force and capital not only trade of goods.
- Sometimes the countries need to do stranger things in order to improve the common wealth of the country.
- Some countries take advantage of things that they can do, they need to look for another alternative
- The Mexican government negotiated the NAFTA agreement and two things happened
- NAFTA should be renegotiated including labor and environmental issues and it is a parallel agreement
- All the laws and restrictions were different in Mexico
Mexico’s Globalization
- A lot of Foreign investment
- We evolved in a more sophisticated production system (high quality, sophisticated goods)
- The market is better, consumer is better
- Lower prices for the people
- After NAFTA, big players were able to compete international but the small companies got more troubles
- The mentality of the people has changed, the peoples changed and now they have international opportunities
