The Gods’ genesis

Since the beginning of time, mankind has created theories about the origin of what we know today. There are religious and scientific theories, from the Big Bang until to what is said in the Bible. What is real? We do not know...

Mainly the unknowns that more had done the man were things like: Why do the trees bear fruit in summer but in winter the leaves fall off? Why sometimes water falls from the sky? Why fish die when taken out of water? In their eagerness to explain all things, man discovered some of the first laws of nature.

Therefore, humanity began to think that beyond the ocean must have "someone" who threw the waves hitting the shore. That from the top of the mountains "someone" should be blowing so hard it moved the leaves. And that "someone", from time to time, brought the clouds full of water and poured over the mountains.

Gradually the man imagined dozens of powerful beings, so that for them the man was negligible. He called them gods and made them live far away places, inaccessible, in which man could never reach to verify or deny their existence. Thus was born the mythology.

Moreover, most recognized mythology is Greek, but ... What did Greek mythology? For a realistic and rational mentality was very difficult to understand the word eternity and infinity, it was more logical to think that everything had a beginning, even the gods. If anything there is "something" that in most mythological stories about creation seems preexisting is Chaos, bottomless pit, open space in darkness, where were scrambled all the elements, water, earth, fire and air. That is, the Chaos is the primordial Void, is both nothing and something, Matter and antimatter? Or Actually a first god?

In the beginning exited Chaos, then came GEA (Earth). By the action of Eros (Love), came Erebus (Darkness) and NIX (night). They originated ETHER (Soul) and HEMERA (the day). Then, with the light of Hemera, GEA took personality and born Uranus (Heaven). Of them born many gods ... but two of them, REA (fertility) and CRONOS (Time) gave rise to ZEUS (air), HERA (marriage), POSEIDON (seas), HARES (the underworld), DEMETER (agriculture) and HESTIA (home).

However, Cronos tried to kill her children ... but Rea wanted to save them and then she joined them and killed Cronos. For this reason the Greeks said: "Time is only an illusion". Then Zeus married Hera and they became in king and queen of Olympus, hence originated dozens of gods ... all that Greeks worshiped it.

On the other hand, the entire population in Greece was always attached by only one reason: "To worship the gods" is really admirable because he always acted as one town. However, currently, this doesn't occur ... Why? Simply because there isn't only one religion, exit is Christian Orthodox, Judaism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and many more ...
