Essay #2 Alvarez López Guadalupe Elizabeth.
How I feel about writing
“A good teacher is like a candle; it consumes itself to light the way of others”.
(Unknown). When I was a little girl and my mother used to ask me: “What would you like to be
when you grow up?” I always answered: “A Principal teacher”, not only a teacher, I wanted to be the
Principal. It wasn't easy, I took the hard way at less I think so, I chose to credit my degree through a
couple of tests at CENEVAL, unfortunately I didn't have enough money to finish my formalities so I
couldn't obtain my degree. However it was my intention to teach, I was really enthusiastic with the idea
of share the things I knew, and also I was convinced that teaching could make a difference, if you
really teach with the heart. I didn't want to go into a classroom and waste my time expecting for a
payment and finish like that, I really want to change the idea about the lazy teachers, maybe not in all
the country; but at less, I will change myself and made better persons to my students.
So in that way knocking doors I arrived to SEP Puebla, looking for a chance in preschool, they
asked to me if I wanted to participate in a new program teaching English in primary schools,and I
accepted, it was a challenge but I was sure I was a proficient preschool teacher, and absolutely I will be
a capable English teacher. Teaching English has been the most satisfying experience of my entire life, I
have to confess I was scared, scared about failing, but i didn't I'm sure of that and I feel proud of
teaching. Became a teacher maybe was part of my destiny and I'm grateful with it. I'm happy of being a
