Globalization

Globalization is a recent phenomenon , which deeply marked the world's economic future , and it will affect developing countries decisively . Many knowledgeable about the fate of civilization, have been repeating that the end of the world is getting closer , that communications will have a great impact on the lives of the countries , where access to information will determine the development of nations , the world has become a global empire that knowledge is the greatest resource of nations.

DEFINICCION

The effects of globalization are being quite devastating for Latin America. During the last years of intensive neoliberal experience in the region , the results have been too painful and disastrous in all countries . The economic growth rate was daunting , unemployment rose and excluded from the benefits of the system grew dramatically. Economies are found with greater difficulties than they had before, can not adapt well to the globalization of trade , becoming more unstable and vulnerable to them. The openness and free movement of goods and capital destroyed agricultural and industrial enterprises that were previously consolidated , bringing more poverty , inequality and human misery to the region.

The term globalization comprises a growing internationalization process of financial capital globalization , industrial and commercial , new international political relations and the emergence of the transnational corporation that in turn produced - in response to constant readjustment needs of the capitalist system of production, new production processes and consumption distributional not geographically localized , intensive expansion and unprecedented technology .

In a way the movement is antagonistic to international trade. What is exported today are not only manufactured goods, but capital and profits. And this loss of profit is also a capital loss , which further impoverishes a country is the leaking of their investments abroad. The country receiving the investment benefits from the wages of employees and , in some cases a secondary business , but the profits are reserved by the owners, in the form of capital for investment elsewhere.

Although globalization has its roots in the past , the great wave toward centralization of capital, investment dispersion after national borders and the extraction of profit , has been accelerating in recent years precisely to a time when the Internet and email are becoming more common among people of one little planet . These two events , which are happening more or less simultaneously , offer , as apparently , the ability to run a large impact on the economy , customs and life in general in all countries and all regions of the world .
