Valedictorian Speech                                            

Good evening principals, parents, teachers, students and friends. It’s an honor being here to celebrate this year’s graduation class of 2013. We’ve finally made it!

Now we are taking different roads, some are going to Universidad Ibero others to Universidad Anahuac, ITAM, Tec and some others to different parts of the world.

Some of us have been in this school for 14 years, maybe 10 or 5 or 3 or 2 but the years don’t count because we are like family.

Since we’ve been together we have been building memories, making friends that will be forever, knowing people and having fun together. Do you remember when we went to camps with Peña Grande, those weekends were the best! We skipped school and have lots of fun with our friends, also the camps in middle school which we went to Las Estacas, all our friends where there and enjoyed ourselves or the retreats in school that when we grew up the place changed to la casa de los padres in Tepoztlan, those connected us with each other and make us unite as a generation.

I should thank our parents, being here is all because of you, we could have done it without you! You helped us financially and emotionally to get where we are. You supported and motivated us to never give up and stand up if we fell.

Thank you all classmates and friends, to be part of our lives, join everyone as your friends, building memories together. We are like family because we take more time in school then in our homes and we’ve been growing up together.

Thank all our teachers because of the knowledge all of you have left us. Every year we changed of teachers and each one of you left us something special inside of us.

Everyone of you will be part of each girl and boy in our generation, in the future when we reunite, we will see that some will be married or with kids or others single, but we will never forget those moment when we were kids in school.

Now I am supposed to say farewell to this school, those who work here, and those who stand with me and behind me, but I hope this farewell is more of a “see you later” because now we are going to take different roads to build our future.

We are the best! The biggest! We finally made it class of 2013!
