First letter:
Dear Greta,
I am writing this letter to tell you a little bit about the university and my favorite subject. As you know, I am studying Pedagogy in English at Universidad Andrés Bello. In this career as the first year, I only have three subjects that are, "Formación General en Educación", "Habilidades Comunicacionales Orales" y English Language 1, the last one is divided in Phonetics, Use of English, Critical Thinking, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Reading. So far I think my favorite subject is Speaking because always work all together as a group and we had fun. So far we only had one test, it was in pairs, I was not very good because a got nervous and I forget some words but eventually, I will go getting used to the situation and I will do a better job. Now we are practicing for the ISP, my group and I will do a play called "The Game". Next week I will write you again to tell you more details about the ISP.I hope you are well.
Regards,
Ashley Evans.
Second letter:
Dear Sir,
I would like to take the opportunity to draw your attention to the case of sexual discrimination in University Andrés Bello by the professor of math’s, Peter Smith, on March 16.
Professor Smith didn´t let the student Jean Paul enter to his class because of his sexual preferences. Outside the classroom, the professor insulted him and laughed at his sexual preference.
According to the diversity laws; Law 35, article 6, this situation is illegal because all the students have the right to be in any class that they want without fear of their sexual identity.
Please take care of this situation, this can´t happen in any school because the students have rights and they must be respected.
I, and those who share my concern would be gratified by a reply from you as soon as possible.
Yours Respectfully,
Nina Gonzales.
