One of my leisure activities is to play videogames, I still play it with my friends, also with my family, so I do this activity with everyone, everywhere, anytime, for me playing videogames is helpful, you will see why, also the videogames are very entertaining, this will be an explanation of the story of videogames and why do I like them a lot, with nothing to add let’s begin.

The videogames were created a long, long time ago, almost in the year of 1940, the first things that supported videogames were the arcade machines, when these machines were released people didn’t like them a lot, until a company called “Nintendo” released an arcade machine called “Donkey Kong”, with this awesome game people wanted to play with arcade machines every day.

The videogame have passed a lot of good and bad things, one of the bad thing examples is the 1983 crisis in the U.S.A country, this crisis made the players very angry, because the company that ruled in that moment (Atari) was the best payed company in the world, and other companies wanted to gain that money, so they created a lot of games, but they were so, so BAD, and in those times, to test a game you have to buy it, but as they are so bad players lost trust and stopped buying games.

This crisis stopped because of Nintendo, because the company released the great NES (Nintendo Entertaining System) with the game “Mario Bros”, with this videogame, people started playing again till the world of videogames we know now. One of the good examples is the 3-D jump, in those times companies and players were bored because of the 2-D games, they wanted more, so they tried to make 3-D games, but they were very bad, until Nintendo created a masterpiece called “Mario 64” for Nintendo 64, and started to make more 3-D games. [pic 4]

With evolution of videogames, they are becoming better on graphics, programation, etc. but the best things that happened on the videogames history, were the portable consoles, these consoles make videogames go everywhere, and help players play a lot of videogames, anytime, everywhere, one of the big examples of this are the Gameboy, PS Vita, and the most recent Nintendo Switch. [pic 6][pic 7]

In conclusion the videogames are a big change on history, and I play them a lot because they are so entertaining and help in some many ways, if you don’t believe me rad this, videogames help you in the vision, strategy, thinking, etc. and if you were asking, NO they don’t hurt your eyes or brain, you should try to play videogames it’s never late to try this awesome experience, thank you. [pic 8][pic 9]
