Sir Alex Ferguson
Sir Alex Ferguson is the actual manager of Manchester United league and he leading the league to win a slew of high-profile championship titles.
He was born on December 31, 1941 in Glasgow. His parent’s are Alexander and Elizabeth. He grows up in the community of Govan next to his younger brother, Martin, and he was considered a bright boy when he studied in Broomloan Road Primary School and in Govan High School. He preferred kicking a soccer ball and with some assistance from Alex Sr., a former amateur player, he developed into a promising young talent.
He turned professional after joining Dunfermline Athletic and he tied for the Scottish First Division lead with 31 goals and finished as his team’s top scorer in two seasons.
Few years afer he joined the Glasgow Rangers F.C and after losing the league Scotland he left the club.
Four years later, he finished his playing career with Ayr United.
When he was 32 years old he began his managerial career at East Stirlingshire and after he moved to St. Mirren but he gained his reputation as a top-flight manager when he led Aberdeen to three Scottish Premier League titles and others awards.
Finally, Ferguson took charge of renowned Manchester United club in November 1986. After working hard with the team he led them to stardom.
He is famous for his 49 football trophies as a manager including twice winning the European Cup.
Today Ferguson lives in Cheshire with his wife and his three sons, Mark, Jason and Darren.
He is dedicated family man, always looking out for the interest of his family. He also has a fiery and competitive nature as a coach and with a bold and opinionated character; Alex Ferguson stresses the importance of strict discipline to all his players. In contrast to his strong presence in football, he guards his personal life very carefully often shying away from the camera.
