stral was a succesful person because when he was a child, exactly he had eleven years built a toy, made a wooden airplane as a result of this, he started to work in a engineering company

In his free time he enjoyed to walk with his dog. One day exactly in 1951, he saw that in his pants and his dogs hair had stuck a flower, this flower is called arctium, is khow as sprash, ins Spanish is know as mozote.

A person curious enough could be a good inventor. Flower was carefully removed and curiosity allowed him to analyze this situation. He saw this flower under the microscope and discovered the reason why flowers stuck , it was because the flowers were a form of hooks and stuck in the skin of animals or the tissues.

As a result of the investigation and the love for the nature, he had a good idea, he thought in the junction of strips with two diferent materials, a strip had a hooks of nylon and the another fiber entangled, so when he pressured the strips got a perfect closing, this invent was called Velcro that was invented in 1959.

The word Velcro is the combination of the initial syllables of the French words: velours that means loop and crochet that means hook.

Nevertheless the people didn’t believe in his ideas, but a someone determined, disciplined and original could be a successful person, so he began whith a revolutionarly locking system. De Mestral founded his own company and in 1951 patented the Velcro, creating a generation of products that made the closing and locking easier. The Velcro products are part of our daily life, which is why this product can be found everywhere: in the office, at school, in the garden, in the stadium, for instance, in your shoes, in cap, belt, wallet, etc

NASA implemented the experiment in his first spaceflight. Use the Velcro suits and boots of the first astronauts stepped onto the Moon . Believe it or not , the velcro was also implanted within the helmet, so astronauts can scratch his nose .
