EBay is a company that has a role of being a virtual platform that allows different products to be traded on the website. It also reduces the amount of existing intermediaries in the process of buying and selling products. Since its inception , eBay has been characterized by gradually keep improving the services delivered to the user community , along with ensuring confidence in an area where it is very difficult to find , such as buying and selling online. Moreover, the company has undertaken to acquire PayPal, a company that is recognized in the field of online payments. All this, together with the supplements offered to customers are what make eBay a benchmark in terms of Internet transactions.

The vision of Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay, consisted in a utopian community founded on the basic economics and was a self-sustaining platform that could adapt to the needs of users without much intervention of a central authority
