What´re motivations?

  • Motivations are the internal causes that support, hold, manage and promote the behavior.

What´re emotions?

  • considered when talking about motivations, as a part of their very deeply roots. Feelings are much more complex than biological stimulus, even if there is no a precise delimitation between them.

Differences between emotions and biological implusles

  • emotions differ from others impulses because that are particulary originated in experiences of a person´s daily life

emotions that are affected by learning

  • A motivation constitutes a wish and people are linked to it, and people are tensioned until this wish is satisfied. This is called adjust to the wishes satisfaction.

Types of emotions

  • Fear: the fear takes place when a hasty and unknown situation makes difficult to take a suitable attitude
  • Anxiety: opposite to fear caused by areal situation. We experiment anxiety when we aren´t so sure about what´s going to happen
  • Worry: it´s mainly different from anxiety because of degree and comes from fear. The worried individual used to find some difficulties when exposes his problem to the others and ask for help. To positively treat fear, anxiety and worry, to talk about it with somebody, to study in depth the cause that start worry, to take part in some collective activities.
  • Anger: Anger is related to reasons of social type, such as the necessity of standing out, to succeed and to control.
  • Love: Love and affection are emotional responses that are developed since the very first childhood demonstration of happiness.

Different individual responses to emotional encouragements

  • Not all the world reacts in the same way to emotional encouragements. As long as people are growing up they are usually more skillful hiding their feelings.
  •         The ability to understand and to control the emotions is too much important in human relations.

How to achieve emotional maturity

  • This process of growing implies the creation of a suitable Philosophy of life that will allow to understand himself and the people around him.
  • Maturity implies to be self sufficient, it’s a product of life of relation and possession of subconscious that works in the values system training, developed at home, religion and other behavior models.
  • Maturity criteria: Criteria to value the maturity of personality consist on the knowledge of the degree in which a person can be in touch with an experienced group friendships and responsibilities.
  • An individual is emotionally mature when he:
  1. Accepts responsibilities.
  2. Meets their goals and work for them.
  3. Gives and receives
  4. Respects and loves their fellow men and himself
  5. Expresses his feelings in a constructive way.
  6. Is sensitive to the other’s feelings.
  7. Is sure about the effect he causes with his behavior to the others.
  8. Likes to be with someone else, but also, he is able to enjoy solitude
  9. Is  flexible.
  10. Takes his own decisions and accepts criticisms without taking revenge.
