HEALTHY DIET

A correct, varied and complete feeding allows our body to work with normality and it reduces the risk of enduring illnesses. In the first years of life, the feeding is of vital importance, because of this depends that the children have enough nutrients and vitamins that contribute to a proper development to carry out their everyday life, so, eating habits acquired in this period will have consequences in the health of all life.

The influence of the marketing in the children is very strong and it can be considered a dangerous instrument, it creates desires and needs that don’t correspond with the age of the child or adolescent. Of the thousands of announcements that children see a year in television, 2/3 parts are food with high content in calories, fats, cholesterol, sugar and salt.

A balanced diet is a concept that should be used in the plural, because depending on where you are and where you live, there are various types of balanced diets. To determine that a balanced diet should be taken into account such factors as provide the amount of necessary energy to carry out metabolic processes and physical activity, provide sufficient nutrients that have plastic function (proteins) and regulatory (vitamins and minerals). The moderation is a fundamental cause for the balanced diet.
