Today in our global society, innovative and successful companies need highly competitive professionals to respond immediately to changes in the environment, ensure the implementation of corporate objectives and contribute to its success. That´s why nowadays Job offers demands more skills and knowledge for their candidates. In this report, we are going to analyze three elemental factors that have an important effect in the job offers in Spain, these three factors are: The economic crisis in Spain, the employment sectors and the most required languages. All the information we used to do the bar and pie charts showed in the Report are based in all the English job offers showed in the Spanish newspaper El Pais, since the 21th of September of 2011 until the 21th of November of 2011.
2. Economic crisis in Spain

Here we have a table of how the crisis has affected employment in some countries of Europe:
This crisis has been reflected more in the reduction of job offers that we see in the newspapers every week, but we emphasize the particular offers that are in English, because all this economic crisis affected especially American companies, causing many bank ruptcy or dismiss of a lot of people in order to reduce their expenses and not to close the company. All of this has led to a huge decrease of job offers in English.
First of all, what we could observed by analyzing all the different job offers in El Pais newspaper is that now job offers search more for people who already have labor experience, so like this the training and preparation for the potential worker could be faster and less expensive for the company. Also a large percentage of job offers are offered in big and strategic cities in Spain, like Madrid or Barcelona for example, where basically is where all the most important business companies are located in the country.
With everything explained before, we could see that people have started to enrich their knowledge by learning other languages or going studying abroad, so like this they could develop and expand their skills, so as a respond of that, in a future they could search for better job opportunities and be more competitive in the labor market.
