GOALS

The main goals this handout tries to achieve are :

a) Develop confidence in students they can learn English language skills (listening , reading, writing and speaking ) through familiar current methodology;

b) Students can be exposed to a variety of teaching techniques revitalizing classical tasks , such as: task development, pair and group work , use of reference materials, repetition, lexical mapping, transferring, inferencing, among others.

c) Explore a variety of textbooks and determining how to best utilize them within a curricular framework;

d) Develop a variety of assessment instruments to support

teachers’ decisions upon students’ evolving performance.
