When choosing the right transport for your products you must find a balance between time and restrictions and be reliable so that customers feel satisfied. To choose the transport, the type of cargo must be analyzed: Dangerous, perishable, fragile and of cost.

To choose the correct transport mode, the following must be taken into account:

• Budget: When choosing the best way to transport your products, the economic factor should be the most important when making decisions.
• Transport speed: if you have perishable items, you should avoid sending them for trips of more than three months, and also make sure you choose a reliable mode of transport.
• If dangerous products are transported, there are guidelines that must be met. If it is certain that they are dangerous, they must be reported to the dangerous goods branch.
• If the products are expensive it is possible to consider some type of insurance, and it is paid by the buyer or the seller.
• If the cargo is valuable, it is recommended to use a tracking system to know where the merchandise is.

Choosing the mode of transport depends on size and urgency.

• Road transport is economical, comfortable and flexible but is subject to long delays. Restrictions on height, weight and length must be taken into account.
• Rail transport is fast and has a large load capacity, however it can be expensive.
• Air transport is undoubtedly the fastest way to move products over long distances but it is expensive, it is not ecological and it has a weight limitation
• Maritime transport is an economic transport especially for large volumes, however it is slow and quite inflexible
• The courier service is fast, reliable and very safe but can be expensive
