Task: Creation of genuine materials and sharing online
As explained in the unit, digital texts are very useful as a first step before performing material with more complex ICT tools. Besides, we have seen that we can create very interesting worksheets by means of some sites enabling us to easily do so.
The main aim of this task is to enhance your creativity and imagination when creating a worksheet, a digital text and a Hot Potatoes activity. Besides, this task is also aimed at showing your ability to share your materials by means of the sites seen in the unit.
This task consists of three parts:
1. You will have to create an original worksheet by means of one the sites provided in the unit. Once you have created it, you will have to share it via one of the sites that allows users to share files:

- Name of activity: Bingo.
- Age of children and level: 6 years old.
- Skills of English they’re going to practice (reading, writing, listening, speaking or use of English):
On the one hand, this activity the children are going to practice the listening: when the teacher calls out the names of body parts, thus students have to be attentive and listen. On the other hand they also practice the speaking, because once one of the students say or sing "bingo", they will have to say the name of the images from your bingo card.
- Software used: Tools for educators.
- Short description of the activity and how you’re going to carry it out in class.
This activity will be done individually. The teacher will distribute to each student a bingo card with different images of body parts. Then, the teacher will say aloud names of the body parts that they are in the bingo card. When a student has crossed the nine images, it will call “bingo”, and the student repeat each of the images of their bingo card in order to verify that the teacher mentioned previously. As I explained earlier, we will work on listening and speaking.
2. You will have to design and elaborate a digital text by means of software enabling you to do so (Microsoft PowerPoint or a Prezi). Then, share the material or activity via one of the sites for sharing files or Prezi link, in case you used the latter for your material:

- Name of activity: Spring is here.
- Age of children and level: 5 years old.
- Skills of English they’re going to practice (reading, writing, listening, speaking or use of English): Listening.
- Software used: Power Point.
- Short description of the activity and how you’re going to carry it out in class. In this activity we work the spring season. During the class we will use the Power point as an educational resource. Through the power point we try to know that students have previous ideas, review and/or learn new colors, and learn a song about spring.
3. You will have to create a Hot Potatoes activity by using one of the authoring tools that this application provides (JQuiz, JMatch, JMix, etc.). Once you have created your activity, you have to share them via Hot Potatoes server and also via GoogleDrive or Dropbox.
