Gaston Acurio was born in October 30th in 1967 in Lima his father’s name is Gaston Acurio Velarde and his mother’s name is Jesusa Jaramillo Razuri. He was enrolled is the laws school but he did not like this and quit, the he studied to be a chef in Paris in the Institute Cordon Bleu. He is married with Astrid Gustache who is also a chef. He is the promotor of the International Gastronomic Festival MISTURA since 2008. He is the owner of a lot of restaurants in Lima like “Madam Tusan” and “Tanta”. He has also written some books since 2002. I think he is an important person because he has improve the gastronomy in Peru and around all the world.

B: Yes, please let’s finish this as fast as we can.

There are a lot of thing that happens in an office, because there are a lot of different kinds of persons working there, for example:

- Many people drink coffee

- Many years ago some people used to smoke cigarettes inside the office

- No everybody takes break at the same time, everyone has lunch at different hours.

- Some people gossip about other people.

- There are always mini-groups, which are conformed for people with similar likes and dislikes, and sometimes they have break together or go home in the same taxi.

- Some years ago the bosses were authoritarians and impolite with their workers.

- In the 90s, to get a promotion, you needed some kind of letter with a recommendation.

- Rarely couples are formed; a girl and a boy get in loved, and sometimes get married.

Nowadays there are a lot of new trends in the offices, like:

- Celebrate their worker’s birthday every month.

- The bosses organize meetings every month or even weekly.

- The companies promote the promotions to their workers, and these are related to their careers.

- The companies organize sport events to generate friendships.

- There are also problems at the offices between co-workers or even with the bosses.

1. What should we do to promote our culture ? Why ?

We can do a lot of things to promote our culture, but we have to realized that nowadays the internet and the telecommunications are very important and almost part of our lives, so we can use those tools to bring the information farther and faster.

2. What do we have to do for being succesful people?

The people have to learn how to invest some things on their lives, like their money, their time and other things. If people save money, they will be being responsible for their future, and also if they spend time with their families or if they know how to use the time in college or does not waste time doing nothing while they can be working, they are going to be successful.
