Sexual Discrimination in the Workplace:

In past years in the society, the women had no the same rights like now. The women had responsabilities about her house and take care of their children. Our society was sexist with the women because, she born for being in her house and be prepared for her husband needs. But women over the years demonstrated that she is strong that a lot of men in the city. We did notice that the genre is not important. Today the women is an important figure in the society and with a lot of work we changed the world. Many women today are more dedicated to her future and career in different ways more tan the men. The article Facts of life says that discrimination against women in the American workplace is very much alive and well, Although much has change for the better in the nearly four decades since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Women continue to encounter serious obstacles to equal job opportunity. Women continue to be passed over for Jobs and promotions for wich there are qualified, to be paid less than men for equal work; to be sexual harrassed on the job, and to be disadvantage in numerous other ways based not on their abilities of their qualifications but on the fact that they are female.

For example, in my college in different classes of my bachelor the women are more men. Today the women are more made, are more profesional. The woman today doesn’t compare with the woman in the past. Everything had change: the clothe, the hair, her education and her figure in the society. For Mia Perez student of UPR Cayey she think that sex discrimnation exist when a person of group of people are treated unfairly solely on the basis of their biological sex. So I believe sexual discrimination is somenthing that shouldn’t be allowed at all. Nobody should be judged based their gender, beliefs, color, carácter. Everybody should be respected by their differences and what makes the unique. To me is very important to be in this group of women strong, dedicated, with vision in her career and his future and slowly making a difference. Sexual discrimination also makes sexual harrasment against the law.

But there are exceptions, in this world we have men that are like the older society sexist and with desire to humilliate the woman teaching their superiority. According to Suheily Pena student of UPR Cayey she indicates that sexual discrimination is a cruel act. All humans being are equal, regardless of the sex that everyone considers himself. This is more complicated that it sounds and goes further because we must learn to respect the choices that each person take over their life. Woman are not worth less than men, and I dare today that sometimes are better human being that men themselves. Woman and men we are all humans and we should have the same rights. Los Angeles Times have an article about sexual discrimination with three female members of the Mission Viejo Country Club alleging that the club discriminates against women by making it difficulting for them to golf with their female friends. This women are discriminated for playing a game that only play men. It is absolutely stupid because we are equal with men. And we have no reason for do not play this game. That is a example for know that we are discriminating not for job only but also for being in places that other consider only for men. In cases we have a lot of discrimination in the workplace
