Integrating Multiple Intelligences in ESL/EFL Classrooms

Throughout the years have been implemented different Multiple Intelligences or learning styles, which are introduced from the first years of school. And it is one of the most important approaches in primary. Howard Gardner, Introduced his theory of multiple intelligences in 1983. Multiple Intelligences is a theory about the brain that says human beings are born with single intelligence that cannot be changed, and is measurable by a psychologist. Also He believes that there are eight different intelligences in humans, which are developments in the classroom using a variety of activities that will appeal to all the students.

Multiple Intelligences is based upon mental capacity, to learn easily many things. However, people have life skills, and mental capabilities are equally important in different environments. In the school we learn to develop our intelligence, and skills, when the teacher applies different activities, and demonstrate our capacity to do something, that leads us to the understanding of learning. I think our intelligence grow as we study, or acquiring knowledge. Because if we are born with some intelligences, so through study to develop us a few others intelligences.

Our intelligence should not be changed, everyone is different, and it is excellent, because we have the opportunity to learn from others, and vice versa. The teachers provide a flexible approach to good teaching, and the adaptation of activities classroom, and individuals needs of the students, interests, and strengths. In my opinion is a good method or theory to evaluate the intelligence to the students and help them, because not all have the same intelligence, and that all the teachers put it into practice, and even more when teaching a second language.

This response talked about the multiple intelligences, implemented in the classroom that have been used to solving problems. I learned that all students we have different intelligences, and that are discovered by the teacher, some with a stronger points, and others weaker percentage. But all are important to the life. Personally I have found that teaching of Multiple Intelligences were very funny, also beneficial to the students.
