There’s no doubt an entrepreneurial mindset is paramount to achieve success. Two important features in regards with entrepreneurship is innovation and creativity: but…
1) What’s the difference between innovation and creativity?
Answer: It's coming up with a novel idea, can be a new design, work of art, new way to do business and does not have to address a need.
2) According to the presenter, what are some ways to be creative?
Answer: Brain storming, using existing information as reverse engineer it, literature, web catalog, patent search and how do other disciplines perform similar tasks and collaborate methods (As rotate design ideas and gallery method).
3) What does the “Gallery method” for collaboration consist on?
Answer: First, you put an idea up on a wall and you have your colleagues come by and evaluate that and put little stick notes up there where they could writte about how to improve that idea or how to solve any problems
4) What are the characteristics of Innovation?
Answer: Creativity is generally the first step, must address a need, must be "do-able" and what values does your design/idea add?
5) What’s entrepreneurship to Glen Gaudette?
Answer: For him, an entrepreneur is an acting on innovation, delivering the innovation to address the need and can include: commercial entity and non-profit company.
6) From the information presented, what message, advice or information do you consider important?
Answer: About the great circle that includes creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
That creativity begins and goes to innovation. Creativity is an essential part of innovation and innovation is an essential part of a successful venture.
It is equally important about the characteristics of each concept and the methods that exist to carry them out
